Finding Feni is a branding and packaging project that reimagines Feni through a contemporary visual identity inspired by Goan heritage, Kaavi art, and linocut printmaking.
Project Link

Stage 1
Explored the history of Feni, Kaavi art, linocut printmaking, and heritage-led storytelling in Scotch branding.
Stage 2
Developed a linocut-inspired visual language by translating motifs, textures, and principles from Kaavi art into a modern context.
Stage 3
Designed a complete brand identity and packaging system for a hypothetical Feni brand and its product range.

Studied the history, techniques, motifs, and cultural significance of Kaavi murals, a traditional art form native to the Konkan region and Goa.
Explored the visual language of linocut printing, focusing on its carved textures, high contrast forms, and similarities to Kaavi's subtractive process.
Researched the origins, production methods, cultural relevance, and evolving identity of Goa's indigenous spirit.
Examined how Scotch brands leverage history, geography, and craftsmanship to build premium narratives, and how similar strategies could elevate Feni.

This project reinforced the importance of grounding contemporary branding in regional craft, demonstrating how traditional practices can be thoughtfully reinterpreted for modern audiences.
